Agriculture Produce Market Committee Bilaspur presently have two check posts one at Swarghat and another at Gambhar Sai. Check posts have been set up to record the import and export the notified agriculture produce to the Notified area of APMC Bilaspur & to collect the compound fee.
Method of Sale
There are two method of sale namely open Auction and negotiation. First, the fruits and vegetables brought by the local growers sold by open auction. Secondly, the fruits/vegetables and other items brought by the traders from outside the state are sold through negotiation.

Farmer Awareness Camp
Agriculture Produce Market Committee, Bilaspur organizes farmers awareness camps to make farmers aware of better marketing through packaging/grading, Agriculture production technology & post harvest practices, of their produces besides benefits of regulation in agricultural marketing. Guest lecturers from Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and KVK departments are arranged for updating the farming community about latest developments and schemes of state and central government. Collection Center
Collection centers are being constructed near poly house clusters. These collection centers will act as transit points where farmers can sort/grade their produce before dispatching it to the markets.APMC Bilaspur has constructed three collection centers so far which are situated at Jaamli, Bassi and Gahar. Further APMC Bilaspur is also going to construct centers at Chhakoh, Auhar, Kutheda and Berthin to provide facilities to the farmers of Bilaspur District.
FARMERS MARKETS (APNI MANDI/JANTA MANDI)
Apni Mandi/Janta Mandi is a platform where farmers sell their produce directly to the consumers. In the process farmers realize better prices and consumers get fresh vegetables and fruits at reasonable rates.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Construction of Sub Market Yard at Ghumarwin:
Sub market yard has been constructed at Ghumarwin at a cost of Rs 75 Lakhs. This yard will cater to the needs of farmers of surrounding villages of Ghumarwin for selling their surplus produce.
