This Regulated Market Yard is situated at the distance of 10 Km. from Kullu Distt. Headquarter.This yard was established in 1992. The total area of the yard is 01.53.21 hac. During the flood in 1995 about 40% area of this yard was washed away. This Regulated Market Yard remains functional throughout the year. The Market Yard caters to the marketing needs of the farmers of about 150 villages.

(II) SUB MARKET YARD KULLU (Main features)

This Market Sub Yard is situated in Akhara Bazar Kullu. The total area of this yard is 19.10 Bighas.This Yard caters the needs of the farmers of about 20 villages. Presently 15 commission agents are working in this yard.

(III) SUB MARKET YARD KHEGSU

This Market Sub Yard is situated at the distance of 20 Km. from Ani town and 3 Km. from Luhri on Luhri-Dalash State Highway.This yard was established in 2009. The total area of the yard is 12 Bighas. This Sub Market Yard is seasonal. The Market Yard caters to the marketing needs of the farmers of about 50 villages of Distt. Kullu and Mandi. At present only auction platform has been provided to the dealers and 15 nos. shops along with stores ,offices of APMC., Bank, Kisan Rest House and residence for chowkidar has been constructed in the 1st floor.

(IV)SUB MAKET YARD PATIKUHAL

This Market Sub Yard is situated on the National highway-21 near Patli Kuhal. The Patli Kuhal yard was started near the fruit growers association building at Mahili. In the year 1995 the flood washed away the yard site and then market was shifted to Patli Kuhal near the park where (1)Bigha land was transferred in the name of agriculture deptt. This sub yard remained functional till 2004 . During 2003-2004 the Market Committee purchased 2-12 Bigha private land near Baragran Nala bridge where some Govt. land was available. The marketing activities were started there in July.2004. The following facilities are available in this yard:

Due to widening of Kullu-Manali highway a portion of this yard was dismantled for highway alignment. Alternative patch of land measuring approx 8 bighas on Patlikuhal-Naggar road has been transferred in the name of Agriculture Department for the purpose of market yard. Marketing of local fruits is being done from this yard since 2018. Infrastructure is yet to be raised at this yard. Drinking water, electricity and public toilets are available as of now.

(V)SUB MARKET YARD CHAURIBEHAL

This Market Sub Yard is situated on the National highway-21 near Manali. The total area of this yard is 17-4 Bighas. During 2004-2005 the Yard was shifted to this palace and presently 17 commission agents of fruit and vegetables are working here. About 30 villages of the surrounding area are being benefited by this yard where farmers bring their fruits and vegetables for marketing. This yard is also used for stacking, grading and packing of the Seed Potato of Lahoul Spiti area. The following facilities are available in this yard.

(VI) SUB MARKET YARD BANDROL

This Market Sub Yard is situated on the National highway-21 at a distance of 10 Km. from Kullu towards Manali . This yard is functional since the year 2000 . This is a seasonal yard and it remains functional from May to October. At present 131 commission agents are working in this yard. The total area of this yard is 12.19 Bighas. About 80 villages of Kullu District are being benefited by this yard . Land measuring 12.19 bighas has been diverted in favour of Agriculture Department for the construction of market yard. This yard has maximum arrival of fruits and vegetables among all the yards of APMC Kullu. Farmers even from distant places like Banjar, Aani etc visit this yard for selling their crops. Large number of buyers from all over the country come to this yard for purchasing fruits and vegetables. The following facilities are available in this yard. Construction of marketing infrastructure in the yard is being under Himachal Pradesh Horticulture Development Project being funded by World Bank.

(VII)BANJAR

This Market Sub Yard is situated at Damothi (Banjar) at a distance of 44 Km. from Regulated Market Yard Bhuntar .To provide marketing facilities of Agricultural Produce to the farmers of Banjar development block. Forest land measuring 8-9-0 bigha has been diverted for construction of market yard. Construction of infrastructure shall be undertaken soon. The APMC. Kullu & Lahoul Spiti has take a tented building consisting. The following facilities are available in this yard.

  1. Facilities available: Electricity. Drinking Water and Parking
  2. Infrastructure is yet to be raised in this yard.

Major arrivals: Green Peas, Tomato, Bean, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Garlic, Apple, Pear, Plum, Pomegranate

(VIII) Shaat :

Land measuring 6-6-0 bighas has been purchased by the committee for Shaat market. Covered auction platform, office space, canteen and toilets have been constructed. Additional infrastructure is being developed in this yard through World Bank funded Horticulture Development Project.

Major arrival: Tomato, Cauliflower, Green Peas, Apple, Pear, Plum, Persimmon

(IX) NIRMAND:

Land measuring 4-17 bigha has been purchased by the committee at Nirmand. 18 shops and covered auction platform constructed at this yard. Farmers rest house, canteen and public toilets are in place.
