Enforcing the improved regulation of sale and purchase of Agricultural Produce brought for sale or purchase in the notified market area/yards. Implementation and arrangement of better marketing system to provide competitive prices, correct weighment, payment and creating exploitation fee atmosphere by stopping illegal activities in the marketing of Agricultural Produce through its Agricultural Produce Market Committees.

The Board acts a liaison agency between the Agricultural Produce Market Committees and the State Government of Himachal Pradesh for all round development of agricultural marketing system in the State.
